Choleraic and Diarrhoeic type.?The majority of these cases were adults, all seen being males. Bilious vomiting and diarrhoea, often with blood and mucus in the stools, were prominent features in almost all cases. In a few, however, vomiting was absent, but the intensely toxsemic state of the patient and the diarrhoea or dysenteric condition present might have led one to diagnose the case as one of severe bacillary dysent-
